Cox Ranch (owned by my caring mother and father), is the 2,200 acre horse and cattle ranch on which Capernaum sits. What generous hearts my parents, Bobby and Leona, have been blessed with to have freely given up so much of their land for Tammy Lane Productions, their devotion to the Lord and this dramatic segment of natural scenery God has bestowed upon us. It’s as though God took a paintbrush and crafted Cox Ranch stroke by divine stroke.

With this gift, we have opened the ranch for filmmakers to come and create their projects on an authentic ranch setting!

Riches of the Ranch

Cox ranch is no run of the mill ranch. For one thing, it’s the home of the authentic red stagecoach from the legendary TV show, Gunsmoke, as well as the one and only Miss Kitty’s buggy. Gunsmoke’s Doc’s buggy lives at Cox Ranch as well!

The ranch boasts numerous wonderful landscapes such as white sand caves, wide open prairies, sprawling fields of vibrant wildflowers, clean cool lakes, hearty forest land, expansive meadows, winding ravines, mossy swampland and much more.

There is a plethora of open space without modern landscape, often used for period pieces.

As an extra special charm, and the chariot of the land so to speak, we also have a roomy wagon that seats 15, which was used on the Candy Cane Lane wagon ride during the Star of Bethlehem Experience. It also won second place in the Fort Worth Parade of lights!

Cox Ranch is rich in natural beauty supplied by our Lord, and adorned with charms of history. Come on out and breathe the air. Say a prayer, and behold what God has done.
